These Graphics Designs are for the University of Michigan’s various Organizations and one Squadron Patch for the Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 16.

The final draft of Compass logo
Over the course of approximately eight weeks, I developed a versatile and impactful logo for the client. Most of the time was spent patiently waiting for feedback, so the actual work involved was probably in the range of 16–34 hours.

Sample Compass Logos
For this client, I developed a versatile and impactful logo over several weeks, creating more than 25 variations to explore the brand's identity. This process emphasized adaptability, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering a polished, professional final product.

Initial concept of requested Compass logo
I started with a simple black-and-white concept, iteratively refining the design based on client feedback to ensure alignment with their vision and values.

Squadron Logo
During my deployment in 2003, I was entrusted by my commanding officer with the responsibility of designing a new logo for the squadron. Beyond the creative challenge of crafting a design that resonated with the unit’s identity and mission, I was also tasked with procuring the necessary supplies to bring the project to life.
With a small cash allowance in hand, I navigated the unfamiliar terrain of Iraq, leveraging my past experience as a translator for Mexican farm workers and English-speaking managers. Although I barely spoke Arabic, I successfully built connections, made friends, and secured the materials needed to complete the project.
This experience honed my resourcefulness, adaptability, and ability to work under pressure while maintaining creativity. The result was a meaningful and impactful logo that the squadron proudly adopted.

Student Organization Logo Designs – University of Michigan
I had the privilege of designing logos for several student organizations at the University of Michigan, many of which were veteran-led groups. As a veteran myself, I took immense pride in contributing to organizations that fostered camaraderie and support for those who served.
Each design was crafted to reflect the unique values and missions of these organizations, blending creativity with a deep personal connection to their purpose. This experience not only allowed me to refine my design skills but also reinforced the importance of creating meaningful and impactful visuals for communities I deeply care about.
